Whom do I call if I want to check on the status of an adjustment?
Entertainment Partners Adjustments department is available from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm (Pacific) to assist you in resolving any payroll adjustments. Call: 888.EP.FIXIT (888.373.4948).

Can I pay a non-exempt employee a "flat" weekly rate?
No. Flat rates are a violation of both California and federal wage and hour laws. Both California and federal laws require non-exempt employees to be paid for the hours actually worked.

Where are EP offices/affiliated offices located?
With offices in Los Angeles, New York, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania, and with affiliates in Vancouver, Toronto, London, and Tokyo, EP can serve you around the globe. For more information, visit the Contact EP section of our website.

I have moved. How do I change my address?
All address changes need to be submitted in writing and must contain the last four digits of the employee’s Social Security number and signature. Please fax the address change request to 818.848.0254, Attn: Employee Services.

How do I file for unemployment?
Employees must contact their nearest unemployment office. Employees can file by phone or online. The most common unemployment numbers are California and New York. For California, call 800.300.5616 or 800.250.3913 (also used for out of state) or visit www.edd.ca.gov. For New York, call 800.533.6600. For NYC only, call 800.209.8124.

I filed for unemployment, but they have no records of my wages. Whom should I contact?
You can speak to a representative in EP’s Employee Services department by calling 818.955.6000.

When can I expect to receive my payroll edit?
Payroll delivered to Entertainment Partners between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm will receive an edit within 24 hours, excluding holidays and weekends. Payrolls received after 6:00 pm will receive an edit 24 hours from 9:30 am the following morning.

Does Entertainment Partners mail checks?
No. The checks go to the production company so it can copy the checks for accounting purposes, as well as track the handling of the checks.

Do you accept credit cards?
No. Labor costs cannot be paid by credit.

How do I make corrections to my payroll edit?
After proofing the edit, advise your Entertainment Partners paymaster of any modifications or updates by return fax or email. To ensure accuracy, no changes will be accepted by telephone.

Why is it required to prepay payroll?
Once we issue timecards and start forms, we are legally liable for the production’s payroll, so we ask for the funding in advance.

How can I get a W-9 form?
Email your request to Diana SantaCruz.

Why doesn't my voided payroll invoice match the original?
This could happen for several reasons. You could have both a void and reissue on the same invoice, and tax ceilings could have been reached. Often the discrepancy is related to payroll taxes. If any employees on the original invoice worked again before the void was issued, they may have reached their ceilings for certain taxes.

How much prepayment is required for payroll?
The total job estimate, as indicated on the registration form.
