  • 411 Publishing Webinar Series: "Spotlight on International Incentives" - This was the sixth installment in the webinar series presented by 411 Publishing and Variety.com in partnership with the Producers Guild of America. Joseph Chianese moderated this presentation which focused on incentives in Australia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, and the United Kingdom.   • Entertainment Industry Conference - Joseph Chianese participated in the “Production/Talent Tax Issues” panel. Issues discussed include domestic production deduction (IRC 199), film investment production (IRC 181), deferred compensation (409A), and domestic and international production incentives. A webcast was also available.(June 16, 2010)
  • Produced By Conference 2010 - Presented by the Producers Guild of America and hosted by 20th Century Fox Studios, the Produced By Conference brought together the entire producing profession for a weekend of discovery, learning, and creative inspiration. Joseph Chianese moderated a panel entitled "Produced in the USA: An Update on Domestic Tax Incentives," providing the latest insights on the incentives available to producers. The EP booth debuted the new 2nd Edition of The Essential Guide to U.S. & International Production Incentives, 2010. (June 4 - 6, 2010)
  • AFCI Locations Trade Show - The Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) is the official professional organization for film commissioners who assist film, TV, and video production throughout the world. Its members serve as film commissioners for their respective governmental jurisdictions. The EP Incentive Solutions Group was available at the EP booth for film incentive information.   • California Locations Reception - EP had an opportunity to speak at the California Film Commission's breakfast reception which highlights locations and commissions from all the across the state. (April 15, 2010)
  • 411 Publishing Webinar Series: "Spotlight on Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, and Texas" - Marco Cordova and Rich Guay moderated this webinar presented by 411 Publishing and Variety.com in partnership with the Producers Guild of America. Representatives from Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, and Texas gave an overview on what type of production incentives they have to offer, as well as commentary on their locations and infrastructure. A panel of producers shared their experiences filming in the four states. (April 13, 2010)
  • National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP) Annual Conference - Joe Chianese moderated a panel, entitled “The Money Grail: The Economics of the Indie Film,” at the NALIP 2010 Conference: Navigating in a Sea of Change. The panel focused on film tax incentives specifically for the independent film industry. (April 10, 2010)
  • 411 Publishing Webinar Series: "Live from Sundance" - Joseph Chianese moderated this webinar presented by 411 Publishing and Variety.com in partnership with the Producers Guild of America. This webinar of practical considerations and conversations with film commissioners and filmmakers was broadcast live from the Sundance Film Festival at the New York Lounge on Main Street. The webinar focused on production tax incentives in New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Utah. The panelists included producers and directors who were screening films at the Festival, along with the State Film Commissioners representing the states whose incentive programs enabled the films to be made. (January 25, 2010)
